Giving Thanks for and to a Successful Community

Thanksgiving Day Greetings to all members of our CMAA community!

In the Architect/ Engineering/Construction space and the CMAA community, in particular, on this Thanksgiving we have a lot for which to be grateful:

• 1200+ active CMAA members

• Three Active Student Chapters of CMAA

• Nearly 300 CCMs

• 2019 Construction New starts in the DMV holding steady (around $3.1B in Infrastructure, Vertical and Residential)

Even more importantly, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the reason why we do our jobs. As we embrace our families I just want to say- I’m grateful for each of you. Daily, you show the very best of our profession. Daily you deliver safe, built environments, facilities, and utilities for our neighbors to use and enjoy. Daily you give back to our community through your work and your volunteerism.
